We’re living in changing times. Times where sustainability, climate change, carbon footprint and ecological responsibility are more important than ever before. We all know we need to do our part, but what can you actually do?

The NeroQom Squad takes our responsibility to the future very seriously. We don’t believe in leaving action to others. That’s why we’re at the forefront of sustainability in the world of high-end maintenance. We see it as our obligation to do everything we can to protect the world.

Here’s what we’re doing so far…

With you:

We’re saving fuel by completing our first site survey remotely using images from you
You’ll never see us use spray on/ rinse off methods. These use excess water and pollute the environment
From our start in 2001, we’ve developed and pioneered the use of emulsifying products which don’t need water to rinse them off
We’re proactive with our ideas, so if we see ways you could improve your environmental impact, we’ll let you know
We’re all about recycling, when we leave your site, we’ll take our waste and recycle anything we can
Our Disciplines avoid the use of aggressive chemicals which are harmful to nature
To reduce waste, we use high-quality microfibre cloths which are washed and reused
The Squad also has reusable bottles, topping them up from our larger stock in the NeroQom Store avoiding unnecessary plastic waste

At NeroQom:

We’re reducing our emissions by investing in electric, hybrid or low consumption vehicles across the entire NeroQom vehicle fleet
We’re minimising fuel consumption by, where we can, starting early and finishing before the rush to reduce our time sat in traffic
We complete meetings and feedback via video or voice conferencing to win on fuel
We’ve got our paper consumption under control be delivering all quotations and estimations electronically
To reduce paper consumption, we use electronic time management, defect registration and tasking software
We equip our Squad with high-quality, Diadora clothing, ensuring that our workwear lasts as long as possible
HQ is lit up by low consumption LED bulbs
To reduce our carbon footprint, orders are placed in volume

It’s not just big changes, every detail matters. That’s why HQ has signs reminding us to do the little things, like switching off the lights when we leave a room.
To reduce power consumption at HQ, the NeroQom IT systems are migrating to a secure cloud
To let us work from home, cutting down on our fuel consumption, we’ve updated our IT systems with the latest technology
NeroQom doesn’t produce printed promotional material, so no trees are harmed by our marketing team… apart from our limited edition treasure map business cards… not seen it? Get in contact to take a look…
Our Admin Squad is helping too, that’s why you’ll always receive your invoices on email, in a digital format, not in the post
We help our selected partners to reduce their consumption too by letting them send invoices to us electronically
